Guided Walking Breaks on the Border of England &Wales

Wonderful hospitality and wonderful country on the doorstep - The Crown Inn in Longtown, Herefordshire is a fabulous base for our Guided Walking Breaks

Set between the rugged Black Mountains and the gentle rolling countryside of the Golden Valley, the area around Longtown, is the most wonderful place for walking. From the scenic grandeur of ridge walks on the  Cat’s Back or along Offa’s Dyke on Hatterrall Ridge, to more intimate strolls along the valleys of the Monnow       and the Dore, there is a hugely satisfying variety of walks to be enjoyed.

Together with The Crown Inn, we are delighted to offer walking groups the chance to  explore this undiscovered and most beautiful region through our reasonably priced Walking Breaks. Our knowledgeable and informative guides will help you make the most of your trip to Herefordshire. They will lead a selection of lovely walks, uncovering the history, natural history and geography of the area. On your journey with us you will see not only spectacular countryside but also the prettiest and most interesting churches, priories and castles.
